Set within the quiet South Yorkshire village, the Wortley Arms is renowned for its excellent fresh food and comforting country pub atmosphere.
Chef and proprietor Andy Gabbitas has retained the building’s traditional pub image, creating a homely environment where customers can enjoy locally produced seasonal dishes and real ale.
Menus and special boards are changed regularly . Andy is also keen to include a number of hearty traditional dishes, such as his famous Wortley Pie, on lunch and evening menus.
Upstairs is the home of Montagu’s Restaurant - an elegant setting for a fine dining experience. A comfortable pre/post dinner drinks lounge and separate private dining room, available for parties of up to 12.
Montagu’s Restaurant, with seating up to 50, is free to hire for all occasions including weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and office parties. Diners can choose from Andy’s menus or the team are happy to create specially requested dishes.
