We operate as 24 hour emergency vets in Barnsley and our cover is offered 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Abbey Vets have been in existence since 1975, when it first opened its doors in Thurnscoe. Tony himself moved to Barnsley in 1978 and there has been a steady expansion to 7 sites.

The main Barnsley Centre on Dodworth Road is superbly equipped with three operating theatres and a very comprehensive in house laboratory. We are one of only 165 practices to be British Small Animal Veterinary Association approved.
