A Tyer (Tyres) at Bar Lane/Wentworth Road has been established since 1971. It sells a full range of tyres to suit every budget including new, part worn, remoulds etc and all the well known names including Hankook and Michelin. It also does tracking and associated work. Sister company A Tyer (Servicing) carries out mechanical repairs to all makes of cars and light commercial vehicles and MOTs by appointment. The companies are run by qualified mechanics Karl Crossland and Robert Kitchener who have 55 years’ combined experience in the business. The garage has contracts with several prestigious Barnsley businesses.
